About the Artwork
This is a painting of a greyhound that I encountered in my travels around the district. I am principally a portrait painter, and love painting dogs, so this was a great subject. I enjoy portraying the relationship of a person to their pet.
 
About the Artist
A practicing, exhibiting and teaching artist for 40 years, Ann has won over 80 awards for her works, and been selected multiple times for Australia’s most prestigious art prizes including the Archibald, Portia Geach, Doug Moran and Black Swan.
