About the Artwork
Having spent time in Arkaroola and the East MacDonnell Ranges, this painting attempts to capture the essence and colours of the Australian Outback. From the wild, overgrown grasses to the rugged mountains and tranquil vistas; the randomly situated gums and native wildflowers that punctuate the desert.
 
About the Artist
After attending Sydney’s National Art School, Pamela completed her Masters in Art Therapy at the University of Western Sydney. She has exhibited widely and won numerous awards including the 2021 Paddington Art Prize’s Defiance Award and Residency, and her works are held in Australian and international private collections.
