About the Artwork
This is a work constructed after a drawing trip to Ireland and an investigation into standing stones in Connemara and the Burren in County Clare. A strange, clear night with shooting stars.
 
About the Artist
Rod has taught art at Mosman High since 1987 including as Head Teacher. While his main focus is collagraph printmaking, he has worked in many media including painting, drawing and photography. Exhibiting since 1996, he is a multiple finalist in the Inverell Art Prize and shows with Art Gallery on Darling.
