About the Artwork
I have always been drawn to sentimental objects that evoke feelings of nostalgia. This painting explores the parent and child relationship, with objects carefully composed according to form and colour. The teapot takes on the persona of a parent/carer juggling daily tasks, while the Bunnykins mug becomes the child.
 
About the Artist
Sarah is a full-time artist living in Mosman. She predominantly works in oils and still life with a contemporary realistic style, achieved through fine detail and traditional painting methods of fine layers and glazes. Sarah has exhibited widely and her works are held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
