About the Artwork
I rely on memories, intuition and experiences so the painting isn’t necessarily one scene but glimpses that come together, creating the sensation of place - in this case the calm of the Mid North Coast.
 
About the Artist
Merryl has been painting for over 40 years and has a studio at the Middle Head Artist Precinct in Mosman. She works intuitively using acrylic paint which allows her a sense of spontaneity and freedom.
