This many-layered artwork captures the stillness and strength that winter embodies; an outcome that emerges rather than being initially conceived. It fuses everyday landscapes, balancing fragments of imagination, memory, life and all its subtleties to invite the viewer into a real or unreal world.

Judi works at Georges Heights artist precinct, often using the nest as a vehicle and metaphor to explore the strength and frailty of life. Inviting the viewer into a real and unreal world, Judi creates a narrative with fragmentary passages and everyday memories.
