Well known for his contemporary sculpture, Stephen has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions in Australia and overseas. His subjects are derived from nature and range from realism to complete abstract forms. The size varies from maquettes and small sculptures to large constructions for outside display. Stephen has travelled extensively and his practice has developed accordingly. He has exhibited in Sculpture by the Sea in 2002, 2007 and 2009, and one of his large works stands outside the Mosman Art Gallery.
