About the Artwork
I have long been drawn to Jorn Utzon’s Sydney Opera House design concept, visualising the sails as sections of a whole sphere, like segments of an orange. I believe this gives the building structure an intrinsic integrity. This principle has guided me in creating and assembling my own sculptural shapes.
 
About the Artist
A teacher at Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School, Christine studied under Tom Bass for many years. She has completed numerous sculpture commissions, exhibited her work and curated exhibitions. Christine is interested in exploring basic, familiar forms from an abstract viewpoint.
