Inspired by snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, this painting explores the intricate details, tactile markings and soothing colours. It celebrates beauty while highlighting the importance of restoring and preserving coral reefs. 
 
About the Artist
Melony is the director of Gallery 11:11 in North Epping. For the past two decades, her subject matter has fallen into three series: ocean, earth and sky. She aims to evoke emotion and bring the joy she finds in nature into people’s homes.
