About the Artwork
This painting captures a quiet moment at Pittwater on the Northern Beaches. Reflections dissolve into soft blues, inviting calm. Boats rest like suspended thoughts on still water. I aimed to honour the gentle rhythm of coastal life and the serenity found in watching water breathe — a meditation on quiet reflection.
 
About the Artist
Based on the Northern Beaches, Katie is inspired by the local beaches and coastal paths, and the Australian sunlight. Her recent work is dedicated to studies of water, and she has exhibited at The Other Art Fair and The Affordable Art Fair in Sydney, as well as group and solo shows at Northern Beaches Gallery.
