About the Artwork
This work draws on tidal rock formations along Sydney’s coastline. I’m drawn to the geometry of these intertidal zones, where the boundary between land and water is always in motion. I distil these coastal landscapes into clean, minimalist forms, creating artworks that are abstract yet deeply grounded in the natural world.

Kim creates work inspired by the shifting threshold between land and sea. Working across painting, mixed media and relief sculpture, she distils coastal landscapes into calm, minimalist compositions. With a background in architecture and design, her practice blends geometric clarity with the organic rhythms of the natural world.
