About the Artwork
In depicting voluptuously shaped ceramics and coloured glassware, I seek to elevate the female form, womanhood and maternity. Here is a family portrait which includes my four children and two stepsons, our youngest child appearing as an egg symbolic of the cycle of life and untold potential.
 
About the Artist
Previously a graphic designer, Libby graduated from National Art School in 2024. She recently exhibited at Sydney Contemporary, was a finalist in the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award, Kennedy Prize 2025, Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize, Hornsby Art Prize 2024, and won the Georges River Art Prize Acquisitive 2023.
