About the Artwork
My landscapes are imagined constructions traversing a spiritual space that invites contemplation of the journey and the distant shore. The notion of traversal is inherent in our understanding of the purpose of life, and every language has idioms that reference our life as a journey. 
 
About the Artist
Mohamed Khadra AO is a Sydney-based artist, National Art School graduate, and a practicing surgeon, author and playwright. Mohamed was a finalist in the Elaine Bermingham National Watercolour Art Prize (2023) and The Basic Sellers Art Prize (2024) and his work is held in several collections.
