About the Artwork
This work references standing stones in Ireland that remain inert while surrounded by constant change. The world in which we live is ever-changing and these stones have withstood the passage of time for centuries. Each day brings something new.
 
About the Artist
Rod has taught art at Mosman High since 1987 including as Head Teacher. While his main focus is collagraph printmaking, he has worked in many media including painting, drawing and photography. Exhibiting since 1996, he is a multiple finalist in the Inverell Art Prize and shows with Art Gallery on Darling.
